5 Days: Masai Mara Migration Safari & Lake Nakuru.

Day 1

Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at your city hotel or pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will depart by road for Lake Nakuru National Park. Renowned as a bird sanctuary, the lake is home to over 400 bird species and is especially famous for the millions of flamingos that feed on its algae. The lake’s shallow, alkaline waters support the growth of blue-green cyanophyte Spirulina platensis, the primary food source for the vibrant lesser pink flamingos.

Upon arrival at your lodge, which is strategically located on a cliff overlooking the shores of Lake Nakuru, you will check in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive will take you through the park’s diverse landscapes, including marshes, grasslands, rocky cliffs, acacia woodlands, and euphorbia forests on the eastern perimeter.

Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its significant populations of Black and White Rhinos....
