Day 1
Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your city hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and travel by road to Amboseli National Park. Renowned for its stunning scenery, Amboseli features a dramatic backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s largest free-standing mountain at 19,340 feet. The park is also famous for its large herds of elephants, thanks in part to the work of Dr. Cynthia Moss. Born in the USA, Dr. Moss moved to Africa in 1968 and has dedicated her career to studying the distribution, demography, population dynamics, social organization, and behavior of Amboseli’s elephants....

Day 2
Amboseli National Park
The following day promises to be a highlight as you explore the diverse terrains of Amboseli National Park, including seasonal lakes, marshlands, open plains, lava-strewn thorn bushes, and acacia woodlands. Your private, professional Driver/Guide will expertly position the safari jeep for that perfect “National Geographic shot”.
Your adventure will also include a visit to a local village, where you’ll meet Kenya’s nomadic and warrior-like people who have preserved much of their traditional way of life despite modern pressures. A guided tour led by the chief’s son will provide insight into village life. He will show you his mother’s house and introduce you to the village medicine man, who might even offer some traditional remedies....

Day 3
Depart
After a delicious breakfast, you will check out and embark on your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, with opportunities for game viewing as you travel. Keep your camera ready, as the landscape may surprise you with glimpses of wildlife along the route.
Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your city hotel or directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) to catch your international outbound flight home. As you reflect on the incredible experiences and memories made during your safari, carry the spirit of Africa with you, knowing that this adventure will forever remain in your heart.
