Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Please be aware that the departure time for this flight may change based on weather conditions, and you will be kept updated accordingly.
Upon your arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide, who will present you with a picnic lunch. If your flight is early, a delightful late lunch awaits you at the lodge. The drive from the airstrip to the lodge takes less than two hours, winding through charming towns and vibrant villages where locals engage in farming—cultivating coffee, tea, bananas, maize, cassava, yams, and more....

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Trekking Day
As you embark on this exhilarating adventure, staying hydrated is key, so be sure to drink plenty of water. Wear comfortable boots suitable for the steep and often muddy slopes, and don’t forget a light rain jacket, as the weather in Bwindi National Park can be unpredictable. Walking sticks are available at the park headquarters or the lodge for those who might need extra support.
