Elephant Plains Lodge is a new luxury lodge located on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park offering spacious luxurious en-suite guest accommodations with breathtaking views of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set in 80 acres of pristine wilderness, only 2 minutes to the park gate, nowhere else here can you sleep closer to the equator (N*S 0.0,25.172) with views of the equator monument visible from all around the lodge. Nestled next to beautiful Lake Kikorongo this is where the open plains merge into the crystal waters and see large numbers of Elephants coming to drink from the water, hence the lodge’s name. The lodge has six spacious double or twin unsuited cottages with very large verandas. The windows have huge glass; you can relax on the splendid view from inside your room. It has two family cottages that offer accommodation from two separate rooms and can accommodate a number of five people. The rooms have huge bathtubs and shower rooms overlooking the park, the lounge also has an intimate corner where you can sit with your friend and have a good talk along with some drinks until dusk drops. The food and beverage section of the lodge will set your appetite on a right track. They have a well-stalked bar and a spacious restaurant with outside space on the deck with a well-selected menu of both international and African dishes.
